THOUSAND BELOW AND LANDMVRKS PROVE THEY’RE ANYTHING BUT "CONSTANTLY NOWHERE"

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – As support acts on Poppy’s “Constantly Nowhere Tour,” Thousand Below and LANDMVRKS proved their trajectory is anything but stagnant during their stop at The Pageant. While the tour title suggests a destination of uncertainty, both bands are moving with clear direction, continuing to carve out their place in the heavy and alternative music scene.

Thousand Below opened the night at 7:30 p.m. with “Kerosene,” the opening track from their most recent album, Buried In Jade. Their set highlighted songs across their past two album releases, bringing vulnerability, intensity, and passion to the stage. The band created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and powerful, allowing the crowd to connect with the emotional weight behind their music while still delivering the heavier moments fans came to experience.

As the first act of the night, Thousand Below carried the responsibility of setting the tone for the rest of the show, a challenge they handled with ease. Between the crushing breakdown of “Hell Finds You Everywhere” and the undeniable catchiness of “Wrong Again,” the band seamlessly blended different eras of their discography into one cohesive performance, using ambient lighting to further establish the mood. In St. Louis, Thousand Below proved why they resonate with fans across the metalcore community consistently.

Following their set, LANDMVRKS made their way to the stage at around 8:20 p.m. with undeniable energy right off the bat. Hailing from Marseille, France, the journey to St. Louis was sure to be one hell of a trek. Despite visiting for the first time, they knew how to command the stage as if The Pageant were a familiar stop on their journey across the States. Fans were extremely excited to see the band live (many for the first time), singing along passionately and looking up at the stage, starstruck. LANDMVRKS’ performance was relentless, filled with dynamic vocals and an energy that spread like wildfire throughout the venue. The band’s ability to transition seamlessly between melodies and heavier moments kept the crowd engaged from beginning to end.

LANDMVRKS further showcased the chemistry and confidence that comes from years of performing together. Their set reflected the balance between aggression and emotion, helping them to stand out in the modern alternative scene. Every transition, vocal shift, and interaction with the crowd reinforced why the band has continued to gain recognition internationally.

The name of the tour carries a sense of contradiction, yet the artists behind it are doing anything but standing still. With each release, Thousand Below and LANDMVRKS continue to push the boundaries of modern heavy music, building their audiences and proving that their momentum is only growing with one fan, one song, and one city at a time.

You can catch Thousand Below on their upcoming headline tour across the U.S., including another stop in Missouri on Oct. 4 at The Regency in Springfield.
